Alex is a Chiropractor and Sports Massage Practitioner. She graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic with merit. She has gone on to gain a postgraduate certificate Dry Needling (Western Acupuncture).
Alex trained as a Sports Massage Practitioner with the London School of Sports Massage.
She works privately as a chiropractor and sports massage practitioner at BodyWave Chiropractic in Southbourne.
Alex has been a keen sports woman from a very young age and has succeeded to the highest level in swimming . She has won several national titles at junior and senior level and has represented Great Britain on numerous occasions including the World Championships in Barcelona in 2003. Following her swimming career Alex still enjoys the challenge of physically demanding sports, such as Olympic distance triathlon, and regularly participates in other water sports, such as sailing and body surfing.
Alex’s sporting experiences and the injuries that she has sustained in the process, have taught her the benefits of chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation and sports massage.
Alex believes that chiropractic care, rehabilitation and sports massage work effectively together to help alleviate and prevent acute / chronic pain and injuries.
